About US

New York City based Caston-Clark Productions presents opportunities for NYC-based choreographers and dancers to perform and present their work. The NYC Choreographer's Forum, produced by former Radio City Rockette Denise Caston, is an opportunity for choreographers to present their work to colleagues and peers. This inaugural event will feature styles including tap, jazz, theatre dance, and contemporary. NYC Choreographer's Forum presents the inaugural NY Choreographer's Festival, happening October 10th-14th, 2018 at The Secret Theatre in Long Island City!

What Makes Our Festival Different:

→ Four unique concerts featuring emerging and established choreographers representing all styles of dance.

→ Opportunities for the Queens community dance enthusiasts to take classes from leading choreographers in NYC.

→ NYC Choreographers Forum Innovation Awards - 2 choreographers will be selected to present a shared evening of work at The Secret Theatre, worth over $1000!

→ Panel discussion or opening party with speakers: A chance to meet the artists and learn more about their careers and how they got to where they are today. Meet and mingle, purchase tickets to attend on Thursday, 10/11 night.

Submission Guidelines:

→ Submit Video of 6 Minutes or Less

→ 5 Dancers Minimum

→ Has a Title

→ Has a Sentence Explaining Your Piece

→ Video Footage - Good to High Quality via YouTube or Vimeo

Benefit to Submit:

→ Perform in NYC to new audiences of dance enthusiasts.

→ One hour of stage/tech lighting rehearsal in the theatre.

→ Be involved 2 of 4 the programs over Friday through Sunday (10/12 through 10/14) - no two performance are the same lineup.
